***Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa) is derived from coconut and palm oils. It's large molecular size does not penetrate the skin and therefore considered a skin friendly cleanser that provides a rich quality lather. Of course everyone's skin is different and could possibly cause irritation to some. This information I've provided is to inform you that this is NOT a sulfate and not to be confused with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) which does penetrate the skin and is a known skin irritant that also contains elements that have been linked to cancer. These are very different ingredients but they are commonly confused because of how similar their names are.
